You know how sometimes you feel useless? Like you’re good for nothing, or that you’re so dumb that you can’t even carry out simple tasks without screwing up?
Yeah, that’s our brains playing tricks on us.
Sometimes anxiety can be a b*tch.
Whenever you feel trapped in this pessimistic tomfoolery, just stop what you’re doing for a sec, take a couple of deep breaths, and repeat: “I’m strong, I’m capable, I’m worthy, I’m smart, and I can do it”.
Resilience can do wonders when you come to master it.
Just do whatever you need to do to unwind for a little while and clear your head of those nasty thoughts: go for a walk, play with your pets, have a little private dancing session in your room, color or draw, book a therapy session if you can afford it, hit the gym for an hour, cook yourself your favorite comfort food... There are tons of things you can do.
