Pogba caught the eye at Manchester United's gala dinner
Paul Pogba once again stood out from the crowd on Tuesday evening as he wore a customised suit during Manchester United's charity dinner.
While the majority of his Manchester United team-mates wore a black suit, white shirt and a tie — Pogba decided to go against the grain by wearing a chequered outfit.
On close inspection you can see the words 'La Pioche' printed all over his personalised attire.
Pogba nickname, which he was given during his time at Juventus, translates to 'pick axe' but is said to have been given to him because he loves to help others.
The Frenchman was all smiles as United gathered together to raise money for Unicef.
United and charity Unicef, who have been partnered for 20 years and host an annual gala dinner, raised £225,000 for the world's leading children's organisation.
Pogba has had a smile back on his face since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took up the reins at Old Trafford from Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman was dropped to the bench for what turned out to be Mourinho's last game against Liverpool after falling out with the Portuguese tactician.
Solskjaer said at Tuesday's event: 'It's absolutely fantastic to be back home and to be a part of this club again. 'I remember the first association I had with Unicef as a player in Beijing in 1999 and I'm honoured to now be the goodwill ambassador for Unicef back home in Norway. 'For me, it's the closest charity to my heart and it's fantastic to see so many people here and hopefully we can raise a lot of money tonight.' Pogba, who has started six of Solskjaer's seven games, is expected to feature against Arsenal in the FA Cup on Friday night.
The former Juventus man is said to be keen on penning a new deal at Old Trafford after returning to form under the Norwegian caretaker manager.
According to The Sun, Pogba wants to sit down with United chiefs and agree improved terms despite having two and a half years left on his current deal.
Pogba is currently the Red Devils' second-highest earner behind Alexis Sanchez, who earns up to £500,000 a week at Old Trafford.
