Preachy content warning: I'm making a contribution through post to support the climate strikes that are being held around the world.
The planet needs YOUR help!
I love road trips: even when the stretch hours seem endless, they're full of good music, solid scenery, and a journey that's as good as the destination.
But now? I deter from doing them, mostly. The epic proportions of nature are under threat. Ice is melting. Forests are burning. Water is rising. Trees are cut. We're living in the extinction. You can't ignore it. It's not the time to be terrified or grief-stricken but to act.
Don't really wait for the activists to brush up things. Rather, get your own hands to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Our entire system must change. Have a scientific understanding of the Earth and know how people are interconnected to natural changes.
Make the world leafier: plant giant number of trees. Have set of planting goal of one trillion trees, or about 150 trees for every person on Earth. They should stand out from the dark forest floor and shine every day.
Live plastic-free: throw it away. Little did we know that not all plastic would be recycled. Ditch the glossy wraps. And also, don't use items that don't look like plastic yet there are hidden plastic.
Walk it out: walk or bike as much as you can. For people with cars or motorbikes, driving shorter distances is not necessary. Biking or walking just one mile a day for a year you could save 330 pounds of carbon dioxide.
